Istanbul is a traffic-dense city, and we highly recommend using metro connections from your hotel to the venue. To utilize metro lines, you should purchase an ‘Istanbul card.’ This card can also be used for any public transportation in Istanbul. Almost every subway station, tram, metro bus, harbour, and funicular has yellow vending machines where you can purchase the card (cash only – Turkish Liras). Most kiosks located near public stops also provide these cards. You can access the metro line maps for Istanbul from here.
